“The 23rd TAFISA World Congress” organized by The Association for International Sport for All was held from October 23 to 27 in Enschede, Netherlands. This year, scholars, experts and sports for all workers from over 60 countries and regions attended the congress. Among them were the delegates of the Macao Sport Development Board.
During the congress, experts from all over the world presented reports on the topic of “Sustainability and Sports for All”. Moreover, they conducted in-depth discussions and shared precious experience with the attendants. The Acting President of the Macao Sport Development Board José Maria da Fonseca Tavares accepted the organizer’s invitation and introduced the development of sports for all in Macao and the “Sport Easy” system to the audience on the workshop of “Technology and Social Media”.
During the congress, a number of meetings and activities concerning sports for all also took place, including TAFISA General Assembly, activities and workshops, the ASFAA Executive Committee Assembly and General Assembly and awards ceremony. Macao was presented “The Triple AC Pioneer Award” for her devotion in promoting exercising and sports for all. The Acting President of the Macao Sport Development Board José Maria da Fonseca Tavares accepted the award.
