The 12th SportAccord International Convention 2014, organized by the SportAccord took place in Belek/Antalya, Turkey from 6th to 11th April, 2014. This year’s convention attracted approximately 1,700 people and around 85 exhibitors from all around the world including various governmental sports departments, tourism departments, international sports federations, national Olympic committees, sports services companies, sports equipment suppliers, sports organizations and sports media, among which was the Macao Sport Development Board.
The Macao Sport Development Board promoted development of the sports industry in Macao and introduced Macao’s development as an international city through booth and other publicity work to people from all over the world participating in the exhibition and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) meetings.
The SportAccord Convention and the IOC held various sports sessions, forums and other related activities. Staff from the Macao Sport Development Board communicated, exchanged ideas and strengthened relationships with attendants and exhibitors.
