To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao S.A.R., the Macau Sport Development Board and the Macao Dance Sport Federation co-hosted the Music & Dance Extravaganza 2014 at the Tap Seac Multi-sport Pavilion on 6th December, where the elite dance performances of International Standard and Latin were presented, attracting a large number of spectators to enjoy the performance.
Three pairs of world-famous dance athletes - Saverio Loria and Zeudi Zanetti from Italy, Dmitry Zharkov and Olga Kulikova from Russia, plus Umberto Gaudino and Louise Heise Jorgensen from Denmark - were invited to perform in Macao this year.The International standards dance team from the Guangzhou Art School and youth sports dance team from the Macao Dance Sport Federation also participated in the event. The organiser also invited Cheung Ming Man and Natalie Sin to sing during the performance. Dance and music suffused the venue, highlighting immense audio-visual entertainment.
The organiser hopes to deepen residents’ understanding of sports dance, playing an active role in the development of the sport.
