The Guangdong Hongkong and Macao Youth Football Exchange, organised by the Macau Sport Development Board and supported by the Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of HKSAR and the Macao Football Association, took place on 8th & 9th November at the Miniature Football Field in the Olympic Sport Centre Stadium - Multi-Purpose Zone. The three regions dispatched two teams respectively to participate in Group A (players born in 2001 and 2002) and Group B (players born in 2003 and 2004) competitions.
After signing the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Sports Exchange and Co-operation Agreement, the three parties have collaboratively been committed to youth sports development. The eighth edition of the competition was held under a single round robin system. Following an intense two-day competition, Hong Kong won Group A, while Guangdong won Group B.
