The 42th Asiania Sport For All Association (ASFAA) executive committee meeting was held on 18 January in Macao. Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau and Chairperson of ASFAA, served as the host of the meeting and discussed the orientation of developing Sports For All in the Asia-Pacific region with the executive committee members from China, Australia, Malaysia, Israel, Iran, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong (China). They also discussed the future development of the affairs of ASFAA and projects expansion.
Meeting Hosted in January in Macao
Asiania Sport For All Association (ASFAA) is a non-profit organization devoted to advancing the long-term development of Sport for All in Asian and Oceanian regions. In order to continue promoting the training affairs in relation to Sport for All, ASFAA has set up the “Asiania Sport For All Association Training Centre” in Macao in 2010 so as to provide the Association with a training centre for Sport for All members. The training centre serves as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. In 2016, the Sports Bureau hosted the 14th ASFAA Seminar, having invited experts and scholars from different locales to come to Macao and to provide the participants with current information about the development of Sport for All.
