2017 Summer Activities are co-organized by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Sports Bureau. Participants of the summer activities completed registration procedure from 21 to 23 May in Tap Seac Pavilion. A total number of 4800 tokens were given. As the four-day registration period ended, a total number of 20381 people had come to register, and 41841 people-times in total had completed the registration procedure. The registration rate was above 91.05%.
The organizers remind the registered teenagers and their parents to pay attention to the date, time and places where courses take place, as well as the specific notices about specific courses. Teenagers are also reminded to comply with the rules and follow the instructors’ guidance, and have a pleasant and meaningful summer holiday.
In addition, the organizers also set up skills development courses for the disabled, deaf or mentally-challenged adolescents. They include the swimming course and boccia course for the disabled teenagers; There are also the swimming course, Taekwondo course, and children rhythmic course prepared for the deaf teenagers and those with language disability. Courses such as football, bowling, basketball and table-tennis courses are also prepared for the mentally-challenged teenagers.
