Macao Tennis Youth Academy Recruitment Day, hosted by the Sports Bureau and Macau Tennis Association, was held on January 6. This activity attracted around 180 teenagers of both genders.

Lots of parents accompanied their children to the test. With the experienced coach's guideline, all participants participated in a range of tests concerning agility, technique and physical fitness. Most parents thought that as tennis had become increasingly popular, the Academy could help the Association to discover potential teen athletes by holding Recruitment Day regularly. The systematic training could contribute to both the development of tennis and teenagers' growth.
