The “Macao Women's Football Day 2019”, hosted by the Macao Football Association, took place on March 24 at D. Bosco College Sports Centre, attracting approximately 50 participants. Zhang Hong, coach of the Macao women's football team, stated that one of the key works this year was to introduce football activities to schools, so as to recruit more new members. It was expected that on the day of the event, participants could enjoy themselves.

Over the recent years, the female participants in football activities rose as a result of the Football Association's promotion. The football activities this year center on females born in years from 2000 to 2005. Competitions took place in various categories, accompanied with interesting training and games. The organizers expected that young potential football players would be selected, given this opportunity, and women's football activities could be further developed.
