This year’s Youth Football Exchange event marks the 4th year of the activities. The organisers hope that the event will allow young players to improve their football skills by learning from their peers, establish deep bonds of friendship and promote the development of youth sports via football matches and competitions under the framework of the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Sport Exchange and Cooperation Agreement”. The matches were played in a round robin format, with teams playing each other once. As in the past, Macao sent students from the Football Youth Academy to compete for the Male Group A (13-14 years old) and Group B (11-12 years old) titles with six rival teams from Guangdong and Hong Kong.
