The 11th Asia Dragon Boat Championship and 2014 Macao International Dragon Boat Races, organized by the Sport Development Board of Macao SAR Government and Macao-China Dragon Boat Association, were hosted at Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre from May 30th to 31st , and from June 7th to 8th respectively. In great festive spirit, the competitions drew a big audience, including both locals and tourists.
After four days of intense competitions, all awards went to their rightful owners. For the 11th Asia Dragon Boat Championship, the highlighted races were the 500m championship for open category won by Thailand, women category won by China, and mixed category won by Chinese Taipei. As for the 2014 Macao International Dragon Boat Races, the standard boat 500m champions for open category and for women category were won by Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pearl.
