The 2014 Asian Para Games were held from 18th to 24th October in Incheon, Korea. Macao, China organised a 45-person delegation to attend the event and assigned 26 athletes to participate in six sports, including wheelchair fencing, badminton, table tennis, boccia, track and field, and swimming.
Macao, sports delegation was awarded two bronze medals. In particular, athlete Lam Oi Man won a bronze medal in Table Tennis – Women’s T6 Singles; athletes Lam Oi Man and U Choi Hong won another bronze medal in Table Tennis – Women’s TF6-8 Teams.
Asian Para Games is the leading quadrennial comprehensive disabled games in Asia. This edition of the Asian Para Games featured three disability groups, namely visual disability, physical disability and intellectual disability, with a total of 443 events in 23 sports.
