Macau Sports Carnival 2014 co-organised by the Macau Sport Development Board and the Federation of Macau- China Sport General Associations was held at Tap Seac Square on 26th October, with some 30,000 Macao residents participating.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by the Chief Executive of the Macao S.A.R. Government, Mr.Chui Sai On; Secretary General of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., Mr. Sun Da; Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao S.A.R., Mr. Cai Siping; representative of the General Administration of Sport of China and President of Beijing Sport University, Mr. Yang Hua; Vice-President of the Macau Sport Development Board, Mr. Pun Weng Kun; President of the Federation of Macau-China Sport General Associations, Mr. Ma Iao Hang and others.
The Macau Sports Carnival highlights assorted events, from introduction to sports, to photo exhibition and broadcasting of sports events, interesting sports games, quiz on sports knowledge and sports demonstrations, etc. Individuals appeared in large number to enjoy the fun of sports.
