Co-organized by Macao Sport Development Board, Sport Bureau of Guangdong Province, Macau Football Association and Guangdong Football Association, the 13^th Guangdong-Macao Cup ended on December 4th of 2015. The event was divided into two rounds. The first round was played at the football and athletics field of Macau University of Science and Technology, and the second round at Guangdong Provincial People’s Stadium.

In the first round on November 28th, Macao football team — the home team tied with Guangdong team at 0-0. Then on December 4th, the second round ended in a 3:1 victory for the home side — Guangdong team. Guangdong successfully took home the 13th Guangdong-Macao Cup by an aggregate score of 3:1.

This is the 13^th competition of its kind between football teams from Guangdong Province and Macao. The organizers wish to, through these football matches, open up for young people opportunities of learning from each other and to promote mutual friendship.
