“The 14th SportAccord Convention 2016” was held by SportAccord in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 17th to 22nd April.
The event attracted more than 80 participating units including governmental sports departments and tourism departments from different countries or regions, International Sports Federations, National Olympic Committee, sports affairs companies, sports equipment suppliers, sports organizations and sports media organizations, involving approximately 2,000 participants. During the Convention, SportAccord and National Olympic Committee respectively held different conferences, city forums and activities.
MSAR Sports Bureau had also set up an exhibition booth to promote Macao’s sports development to people from all around the world, and to introduce Macao’s current progress of development as an international tourism and recreational city. The personnel of Sports Bureau had communication covering a wide range of topics with other participants and exhibiting organizations, and expected the close connections would be maintained.
