Macau Squash Youth Academy, Macau Tennis Youth Academy, Macau Football Youth Academy and Macau Table Tennis Youth Academy held in succession selections in November, seeking promising rookies for Macau sports. The Selection Day activities were warmly welcomed by teenagers and their parents.

The Table Tennis Youth Academy Selection Day took place on 12th in Hall B of Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, attracting 240 boys and girls born from 2002 to 2009 to take part in the event. Many of their parents went to the scene to inspire their children with confidence. The sight was warm and touching. Participants got registered on the site and tested in groups for response, agility, skill and fitness.

The Selection Day of the Football Youth Academy on the 13th in the Olympic Sports Center - Multi-Purpose Zone turned out to be a success. Over 500 boys and girls born from 2003 to 2011 were attracted to participate in the event. Many of their parents took an active part on the scene. The sight was lively and zealous. The organizers hoped that, through the Selection Day event, they could find potential young people and train them up into promising local football players.

The Squash Youth Academy and the Tennis Youth Academy held a Selection Day on 27th respectively at the Squash Court and the Tennis Court of the Bowling Center. Over 50 boys and girls born from 2003 to 2010 were attracted to get registered for participation in the Squash School Selection Day event. The Tennis School Selection Day attracted more than 140 boys and girls born between 2003 and 2012 to get registered. The two selection activities were organized according to the arrangements of the coaches by tests in groups for response, agility, skill and fitness. The evaluations of the tests for all the items of the four schools were handled by groups of experienced coaches assigned by the sports associations of the relevant sports items.
