Co-organized by Sports Bureau, Macau Special Olympics, Macau Sports Association of the Deaf, and Macau Paralympic Committee & Recreation and Sports Association for the Disabled, the “New Year's Recreational Activities for the Disabled” took place at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Park on 8th February. On that day, the disabled, their family members or relatives, and residents participated in activities at various stalls of recreational sports, sign language songs, Tai Chi performance on wheelchairs, and so on. The atmosphere was lively and harmonious.
Chao Kuok Wai, Department Head of the Sports Bureau, Siu Yu Hong, Executive Director of the Macau Special Olympics, Kam Lai Sui, Director of the Macau Sports Association of the Deaf, and António Fernandes, Director of Macau Paralympic Committee & Macau Recreation and Sports Association for the Disabled attended this activity and had the warm group photo-taking. They promoted the message of “Recreational Activities for the Disabled” by supporting the occasion.
