The 11^th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Basketball Exchange was held at Siu Sai Wan Sports Centre on 20 and 21 January. The activity was organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government and co-organized by the Sport Bureau of Guangdong Province and the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government.

After intensive matches held over the two-day period, the Hong Kong team won the championship in the men's group, while the Macao team and Guangdong team were awarded the 1^st and the 2^nd Runner-up respectively. The championship in the women's group also went to the Hong Kong team, while the Guangdong team and Macao team won the 1^st and the 2^nd Runner-up respectively. Lam Chon Kit and Kuan Weng Chon, players in the Macao men's team, won individual awards for “the best assist” and “the best 3-point shooter”.

Upon the completion of the competition at noon on 21 January, the organizers held the awarding ceremony and farewell lunch. The players from the three regions engaged in a friendly exchange with one another to promote friendships. The guests of honour presented medals and trophies to the players of the awarded teams.
