The Sports Bureau organized a teenage sports exchange delegation composed of 18 athletes in the swimming and judo events where they visited Fuzhou, Fujian Province to participate in “Fujian-Macao Youth Sports Exchange Activities” from June 19 to 22. During the exchange activities, coaches on both sides shared their experiences in sports training. As the teenage athletes from the two regions engaged in professional training in the activities, the teenage athletes from Macao experienced how professional training was conducted in mainland, which helped in cultivating positive attitudes towards training.

The Sports Bureau hoped that the teenage athletes from Macao gained knowledge from the training experiences of mainland athletes through the activities which could help them in improving their skills and at the same time further facilitating the collaborating relations between Macao and Fujian in the area of sports. As such it facilitates the mutual development of both places in the area of sports.
