“Celebrating the 65th Macau Grand Prix - Guia Circuit Fun Run”, held by the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee, took place on November 11, attracting around 2,000 runners. At 6:30 a.m. on that day, all participants congregated at the“Guia Circuit”, an internationally reputed 6.2-kilometer circuit, to gain an unforgettable experience in running at where the “Extreme Speed”was recorded. Eventually, participants Iao Kuan Un and Hoi Long were awarded the champion in the male and the female category respectively.
To celebrate the 65th Macau Grand Prix, it was the first time to organize the“Guia Circuit Fun Run”. Iao Kuan Un, after a dramatic race, crossed the finishing line in the overall shortest time 20 minutes and 5 seconds, winning the champion title in the male category. In the female category, Hoi Long won the champion with the result of 23 minutes and 9 seconds. The first 10 male runners and 10 female runners who finished the race at the Guia Circuit were awarded. The participants who had completed the running race were awarded souvenirs, including medals.
The honorary guests included Dr. Alexis Tam Chon Weng, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture and Chairman of the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee, Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau and Coordinator of the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee, Lo Keng Chio, President of the Automobile General Association Macao-China, Li Guang, President of Macau Branch of Bank of China and Chan Hio Peng, Vice President of Macau Branch of Bank of China.
