To strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Beijing and Macao in sports, the Sports Bureau organized a delegation composed of 42 teen athletes specialized in four events: judo, taekwondo, table tennis and figure skating to visit Beijing to participate in the“Beijing - Macao Youth Sports Exchange Activities”from March 25 to 28. After the sports ministries of the two places signed“Macao and Beijing Sport Exchanges Cooperation Protocol”in 2013 and“Winter sport cooperation portocol”in 2018, this year marked the first time that winter sports events were included in the scope of the exchange activities.

As the exchange activities took place, the Macao sports delegation visited the closing venue of the 2022 Winter Olympics - the Bird's Nest, the ice hockey competition venue - National Stadium and curling competition venue - Ice Cube. Under the guidance of professional coaches, Macao athletes took the opportunity to experience the fun of skating.
