The matches of the 17th Guangdong-Macao Football Cup Tournament, jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Ministry of Sports of Guangdong Province, Macao Football Association and Guangdong Province Football Association, took place on October 18 and 26. The next match took place at the Stadium of the Olympic Sports Centre on the 26th. The home team Macao team, who lagged 1:4 behind Guangdong team, made strong offense against Guangdong team, but regrettably failed to score.
