Pursuant to Chief Executive Directive No. 390/2008 and the Amendment to the Voter Registration Law (Law No. 9/2008) in Paragraph 1 of Article 30 of Law No. 12/2000 issued on 5th January 2009, validated legal entities from any sector must submit an annual report to the responsible entity no later than the last working day of September every year.
To enable all validated legal entities in the sports sector to have comprehensive knowledge and a clear understanding of the relevant law and to conduct their responsibilities and obligations, the Sports Committee held its third annual meeting of 2010 in the conference room of the Macao Olympic Complex Multi-storey Car Park on the morning of 3rd September. The meeting was presided over by President of the Macao Sport Development Board and Acting Chairman of Sports Council Vong Iao Lek. Wong Weng Chong, Division Head of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, was invited to attend the meeting to give a talk on the relevant subject. The meeting introduced the committee members to the new content of the Voter Registration Law regarding the regulations governing the submission of annual reports by legal entities in various sectors and other relevant issues.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Macao Sport Development Board invited a delegate from the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau to host another briefing in the 5th floor conference room of the Tap Seac Multi-sport Pavilion for the voters of legal entities in the sports sector. The briefing elaborated upon the details of the key points concerning the new regulations related to the validation of legal entities in different sectors and the effective period and requirements for registering as legal entities voters, regulations governing the annual report, and arrangements regarding the two-year transitional period upon the implementation of the law, etc. The briefing also arranged a discussion session, answering questions from legal entities in the sports sector. Approximately 100 representatives of legal entities in the sports sector attended the meeting.
