“The 10th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao International Sporting Goods Fair and the 14th Guangdong Sporting Goods Fair” was jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Sport Development Board and the Sports Industry Association of Guangdong Province from 16th to 18th August 2013 at the China Import and Export Fair (Pazhou) Complex in Guangzhou.
The Fair served as a professional service platform for exchange of information, dynamic development and trade among the sports industry. The scope of exhibition included facilities and equipment of sports venues and stadiums, exercise equipment, ball games, outdoor gear and professional sportswear. Travelling businessmen and sports lovers were attracted to actively attend the Fair. A lot of visitors from overseas also visited the Fair.
The Macao Sport Development Board set up a booth in the Fair to advertise and promote the situation of sports development in Macao by showcasing information about various major international sports events held in Macao, sports for all activities, sports venues and stadiums and introduction of Macao. There were even an audio-visual area and bowling games on the spot to promote sports in an interactive manner, which were greatly welcomed by the visitors.
