Organized by the Macao S.A.R. Government, undertook by the Sports Bureau, the “M.S.A.R. National Day Celebration - Sports and Art Extravaganza” was put on stage in Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion on 1st October. The show involved martial art performance from Beijing Sport University, singing shows from Korean singer Hwang Chi-Yeul and eight Hong Kong singers, including Hins Cheung, Andy Hui, James Ng, Alfred Hui, Vincy Chan, Sherman Chung and Ken Hung, joined by 3,500 audiences to celebrate National Day together.
Beijing Sport University Martial Arts Team Performed the First Show
The opening ceremony was presided by Xu Ting, the Director of the Department of Education and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao S.A.R., Li Nan, Department Head of Public Diplomacy and Information of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao S.A.R. and Pun Weng Kun, the President of the Sports Bureau. Different kinds of sport factors were included in those performances. Audience was fascinated by and learned more about Chinese culture via the first performances from the Beijing Sport University martial arts team which covered Chinese boxing, fencing, cudgel play and Tai Chi, etc.
Fantastic Singing and Dancing Performance
In the singing show, the moods of the audiences were still in high spirit. Andy Hui, Vincy Chan, Ken Hung, Alfred Hui, Sherman Chung and Hins Cheung sang in turn and shared their daily exercising habits. At last, Korean singer Hwang Chi-Yeul performed lots of beautiful songs with attractive dancing in the grand finale, sparking lively atmosphere for the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.
