Hosted by the Sports Bureau and co-organized by the Photographic Society of Macao, the 2017 “Sports Events in Macao” Themed Photography Competition and the Suncity Group 64th Macau Grand Prix Photography Competition have been concluded successfully. The opening ceremony of the exhibition and award ceremony were held on 9 February at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. Kuok Kim Wa, Leong Im Kai and Wu Sai Hang were crowned champions of the sports-related theme “Competing Athletes”, sports-related theme “Fitness and Joy” and the Grand Prix photography competition respectively.
There are two photography themes in the“Sports Events in Macao”Themed Photography Competition:“Competing Athletes”and“Fitness and Joy”, where a total number of 543 entries were received, while 213 entries were received in the Grand Prix photography competition. The Works Exhibition commenced at 6:30 p.m. on 9 February at the hall of Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. The attending guests presented awards to the outstanding entrants and the best three entrants. The exhibition period was from 9 February to 18 March.
The attending guests include president of the Sports Bureau Pun Weng Kun, president of the Photographic Society of Macau Ma Chi Son, chairman of the Administration Committee of the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau José Tavares, vice presidents of the Sports Bureau Lao Cho Un and Lam Lin Kio, vice president of the Photographic Society of Macau Ou Ping, division chief of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau Chan Iok Wai, president of the Sports and Olympic Committee of Macau, China Lo Keng Chio and a number of members of the Sports Committee.
