The Grand Opening of the 15th GD / HK / MAC International Sporting Goods Fair, jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Civil Affairs Bureau, Macao Special Administrative Region Government Sports Bureau and Guangdong Henghe Group Co., Ltd., took place on September 14 and 15 at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo. The Sports Bureau established stalls at the fair to demonstrate and promote sports-related affairs of Macao.
There were exhibits of various styles at this sporting goods fair, including the facilities and equipment used at sports stadiums, fitness equipment, outdoor leisure products, professional sports apparels, etc.; attracting business visitors and individuals who were interested in sports to attend the fair. Many overseas audiences also came to visit.
The stalls of the Sports Bureau illustrated information about various international sports events, sports-for-all leisure activities, and sports stadiums situated in Macao, as well as the introduction of Macao, which attracted many visitors to approach the stalls to learn more and receive promotional leaflets. There were also on-site basketball games.. Sports and exercise were promoted by interactive methods, in which the visitors were deeply interested.
