“2018 Macao International Kart Grand Prix”, hosted by the Automobile General Association Macao-China and co-organized by the Sports Bureau and the Tourism Office, took place on the 9^th of December at Macao Karting Circuit, Coloane. The finale“Macao Cup KZ Invitation Race International”was held in rain. Eventually, Italian racer Marco Ardigo was crowned champion. 

Around 150 racers from countries or regions including Australia, China, Colombia, Finland, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Spain, Singapore, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the event this year. The races covered 4 events and 11 categories, including Macao Cup KZ Invitation Race International, the AAMC Cup KZ Invitation Race Asia the Asian Karting Open Championships(AKOC) and China Karting Championship, Macau Invitational Race (Mini Class).

In the finale of the Macao Cup, 28 racers competed in a 20-lap race. Italian racer De Conto Paolo was leading at the start, followed by his teammates Ardigo and Corberi Luca. Subsequently, Ardigo overtook Conto and won first place. The 2^nd and 3^rd place were Conto and Luca respectively. Leong Hon Chio ranked seventh, leading all other Macau racers.
