The Spring Festival sports and leisure activity “New Year's Fortune Bike Ride”, co-organized by the Sports Bureau and Cycling General Association of Macau, China, took place on February 7 (the 3rd Day of Chinese New Year). Over a hundred and fifty residents rode bicycles in Taipa and Coloane, led by Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau.

Participants started in the open space near the Olympic Sports Center at 8:30 in the morning. They passed by Sports Road, Sai Van Bridge Entrance, Taipa Seaside Leisure Cycling Track, Seac Pai Van Square and the University of Macau. The route was around 21 kilometers in length. President of the Sports Bureau Pun Weng Kun, Department Head of the Sports Bureau Chao Kuok Wai and guests in the sports field participated in this event. Many participants decorated their bikes with lucky pinwheels, symbolizing good luck in the Year of the Pig. The atmosphere was lively.
