The “2019 Guangdong International Sporting Goods Fair and Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area Sports Fair”, jointly hosted by Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Civil Affairs Bureau, Sports Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and Henghe Group Co., Ltd., commenced on September 19 at the Pazhou Poly World Trade Expo Center, Guangzhou. Luís Leong, Division Head of the Sports Bureau, attended the launching ceremony.

In the fair, there were exhibition booths which aimed to give information about Macao sports affairs and the progress thereof, exhibiting various large-scaled international sports events and sport-for-all activities held in Macao. They also functioned to introduce Macao's sports facilities, attracting numerous visitors to learn more about them. There was also a basketball game area. The exhibition booths were well received by visitors.

This fair was held at the Pazhou Poly World Trade Expo Centre, Guangzhou from September 19 to 21. There were a total of 316 brands exhibited and 235 participating units or cooperative institutions. The number of visitors was 36,432, including 8,362 professional visitors.
