The 2019 Macau Open Bodybuilding Championship, hosted by the Macao Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, took place on August 18 at Macao Forum. Iao Chong Wa, who had been absent in the event for two years, won the champions in both Macao resident category and open category in the men's 80-kg bodybuilding event, as well as overall champions in both Macao resident category and open category. He won four champion titles in total, becoming“Mr. Macao”for the eighth time. In addition, Tong Iam won the champion title in the women's fitness event. Kan Kuan I won the popularity prize with audience's votes. 

This year, in the Macao Open Bodybuilding Championship, there were Macao resident category and open category and events including bodybuilding and fitness for both males and females. Contestants were divided into 26 groups based on their weight and height.
